I had my ultrasound done at NYU Hospital on 7/15/11. I made sure to ask the technician to not only check out my thyroid but my lateral neck as well, since a calcification was found underneath my right jaw last year.
Now I just have to wait to hear from Dr. Fenichel with the results. I should have them by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. Hopefully everything is OK and that nothing new was found and that the calcification either stayed the same size or got smaller.

Fingers crossed for the calcification to have gotten smaller and for all to be clear. Hopefully no scan this year!!!!
